Celebrating works by living American composers, our Fall concert program featured FFSoM professor Daniel Asia’s Woodwind Quintet, Richard Adam’s Shimmers of Light, Derek Bermel’s Wanderings, and a new piece by John Steinmetz entitled What’s Going On. AWQ was a member of the national consortium that commissioned this extraordinary new work for wind quintet.
